Frankfurt’s Baum ruled out with thigh injury, Collins suffering from a cold

Die Adler look likely to be without their talented left back for some time, while another defender recovers from a cold.

Eintracht Frankfurt have been dealt a double blow – Elias Baum will be sidelined for the next few weeks and Nnamdi Collins currently ill.

The Hessen club announced that right-back Baum has a thigh muscle injury, which will keep him out “until further notice”. 

Baum, despite his excellent loan spell with SV Elversberg last season, at hasn’t played at all for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2025/26.
