The announcement that Jérôme Boateng would be granted an internship at Bayern Munich as part of his coaching training caused quite a stir.
While the Munich club’s management emphasized that this was not a permanent position, the fan base was left disgruntled.
During Saturday evening’s match against Borussia Dortmund, parts of the south stand displayed banners with messages such as:
“Whoever gives the perpetrator space shares his guilt – Boateng, piss off!” and “No room for scoundrels in our club – no more room…
