Lennart Karl speaks injury scare following Bayern Munich win.

Bundesliga ball is back for Bayern Munich, who return after the international break. Just prior to the break, Bayern played perhaps their least impressive game in recent days — a 2-2 draw against Union Berlin. Now playing against SC Freiburg at home, Bayern hoped to return to form ahead of crucial fixtures like Arsenal FC away in the Champions League.

Though the game started out poorly for Bayern who conceded twice within the first twenty minutes from set-pieces, they salvaged it by starting a scoring fest at the 22nd. The first goal, courtesy of Lennart Karl was phenomenal — a lethal shot assisted by Michael Olise. Karl returned the favor at half-time — an assist to Olise’s goal.
