Sporting CP Beat Alverca 3-1 to Climb Table

Sporting CP moved into the top half of the Primeira Liga table with a 3-1 win over Alverca, with Maximiliano Araújo’s early strike setting the tone in a match that ended up being more comfortable than the scoreline briefly suggested.
