This time last year, Lennart Karl was lining up for Bayern Munich’s U-17s. He was not even making the starting lineup for Bayern’s U-19s in the UEFA Youth League. Fast forward 12 months and he delivered a starring performance against Club Brugge in the senior version of the Youth League, the Champions League, scoring his first ever goal for the Bavarians and winning the Player of the Match award to boot.
