Bayern Munich faced Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 8, playing their 13th game of the 2025/26 season. Having been on an incredible winning streak so far, the Bavarians were cautious to maintain the streak. Games against Gladbach are never easy and playing away makes it a tad harder. Yet, the Bavarians, even with a rotated squad, managed to make the game count. Playing against an extremely defensive side, they struggled in the first half but turned the game around in the second half and bagged three points with a 3-0 win. This makes them the only team from the top-five European leagues to have a thirteen game win streak from the beginning of the season.
