Bayern Munich recently showed their interest in signing Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund (read here), but it looks like the club was interested in the German talent way before this.
Three years ago, prior to putting on Dortmund’s yellow and black, Schlotterbeck was actually a player for SC Freiburg after coming through their youth system. Even though he was only there for a couple years before he made the move to BVB, he made an impact big enough for Bayern to notice.
