According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will withhold Lennart Karl from November’s U-17 World Cup in Qatar, but will send Wisdom Mike to compete:
The U17 World Cup will take place in Qatar between November 3rd and 27th. Bayern have decided that Lennart Karl would not travel to the tournament because he’s too important for the team during that period. Wisdom Mike, meanwhile, is in the World Cup squad and will be allowed to travel on November 2nd, one day after the game against Bayer Leverkusen.
Given Karl’s recent emergence, this makes sense for all parties. Mike will likely get more playing time…
