Bayern Munich are looking to buy out a new stadium in Munich, according to recent reports.
While the Allianz Arena is one of the most modern and iconic stadiums in the world, it is a venue that is mostly reserved for Bayern’s senior men’s team. The other teams (women, youth) normally play at the FC Bayern Campus nearby, which only seats a measly 2500 spectators.
However, the Campus is increasingly unable to fit the growing demands of the games played there. The Frauen in particular have been exponentially growing in popularity, with their last game at the Allianz Arena selling over 50,000 tickets.
