The brass at La Liga outfit Levante recently knocked back a considerable proposal for the signature of star striker Karl Etta Eyong.
As much, it is understood, was tabled by Russian giants CSKA Moscow, with a view to the winter transfer window.
The offer in question came in around the €30 million mark.
As per the terms of Etta Eyong’s contract, however, his release clause for clubs outside of Spain stands at €40 million.
For this reason, according to GiveMeSport (as cited by Mundo Deportivo), the Levante board showed little hesitation in rejecting the bid.
