New head coach Philippe Clement has to be a success at Norwich City or the position of sporting director Ben Knapper could become untenable, according to Chris Reeve, co-host of BBC Radio Norfolk’s The Scrimmage.
Clement was appointed on a three-and-a-half-year contract and now has the task of trying to lift the Canaries out of the Championship’s relegation places.
Knapper, who joined Norwich in 2023, has been the subject of significant fan protest with the dismissal of Liam Manning doing little to change perceptions around his position in the eyes of supporters.
