Bayern Munich’s backup goalkeeper Sven Ulreich is set to retire at the end of the 2025-26 season.

According to Kicker’s Frank Linkesch and Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Ulreich is expected to hang his gloves up when the current season concludes. However, this does not mean he will be leaving Munich for good. Rather, the report suggests that Ulreich will be integrated into the club in a different role. While specific details are unknown, it can be reasonably assumed that he will take on a role as some sort of goalkeeper coach.
