Daniel Peretz’s loan spell at Hamburg SV has not quite gone according to plan since he left Bayern Munich for the fellow Bundesliga club. The whole reason the keeper wanted to do a loan spell away from the German Rekordmeister was to get in a situation where he could get far more playing time than he was behind Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig, and Sven Ulreich at Bayern. However, ever since he’s been with Hamburg SV on loan, Peretz has yet to make an appearance in either the Bundesliga or DFB-Pokal for the club that’s finally back in the German top flight after a multi-season hiatus.
