With the way Bayern Munich has started the season having won all 10 matches across all competitions, it’d be hard to suggest there’s much wrong with Vincent Kompany’s current squad, and they’re still without both Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, both of whom are working on injury comebacks. Even so, the club is always keeping their eyes open in the transfer market for potential prospects, as last summer’s window was a prime example that backup plans for backup plans are entirely necessary. There was so much time spent prepping for the arrival of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, but he wound up choosing Liverpool instead and Bayern wound up bringing in Luis Diaz instead….
