Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Wharton will be out until the early weeks of 2026 after sustaining a significant injury in the win at Bristol City.
Centre-back Wharton, 28, tore his Achilles tendon at Ashton Gate earlier this month and missed Blackburn’s defeat to Derby County on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Balazs Toth sustained a knee injury in the victory over Bristol City that will keep the Hungary international out for three months.
