Due to a string of injuries Bayern Munich right-back Sacha Boey has found himself back into the mix for Vincent Kompany’s lineup.
The 25-year-old was happy to play a role for the team during its 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on Saturday.
“We showed in the second half that we were also a solid team. We can defend, we can attack, we can score in important moments. That’s what makes the difference,” Boey told beIN Sports (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Every time I’m on the pitch, I try to pay back the coach’s trust. I’m trying to give everything in every minute.”
Boey also addressed how he is doing amid what has been a rocky career at Bayern Munich so far.
