Real Madrid icon Cristiano Ronaldo was in attendance at the White House in Washington D.C on Tuesday night, as he sat down to dinner with US President Donald Trump amongst others. He attended as part of the Saudi delegation in the USA, after talks between Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman, who is accused of conspiracy to murder journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Trump announced that Saudi Arabia was a ‘major ally’ in the Middle East, which is thought to bring more weapons trade between the two countries in the coming years.
