Leroy Sané has not had an easy road back to the German men’s national team.
Excluded in September and October, the former Bayern Munich winger earned his first call-up this month since moving to Galatasaray — and provided the opening assist in Germany’s 2-0 World Cup Qualifying win over Luxembourg on Friday.
Still, the 29-year-old knows his spot on the squad, much less the XI, is far from assured.
