Bayern Munich’s teenage phenom Lennart Karl captured headlines with his first Champions League start on Tuesday against Club Brugge — and then captured hearts by immediately conjuring up a dazzling strike for his first-ever competitive goal for the club.

That the kid has eyes for goal was no surprise, though, to his head coach.

“Lennart has been training with us for seven-to-eight months. He got used to the team and to the boys.
