Bremen’s Austrian midfielder felt his side played their best football today compared to recent outings despite the defeat.

Werder Bremen’s five-game unbeaten run came to a shuddering halt this afternoon as RB Leipzig inflicted a 2-0 defeat on their visitors.
Despite the result, Romano Schmid took a lot of positives from the game and even felt his side performed better today than in recent outings.
