Former Olympique Lyonnais president John Textor was ordered to pay over $90m US on Friday by a British court in a case that dates back to 2022.
That was when the American purchased OL, investing $75m in exchange for a 15.7% stake in Eagle. The agreement was contingent on Eagle getting a quick introduction to the New York Stock Exchange, something which did not materialise.
