Hull City captain Lewie Coyle says he would love to play 500 games for the Tigers, having just reached 200 appearances in Tuesday’s defeat to Ipswich Town.
Coyle, 30, joined Hull from Fleetwood Town in 2020 and has become a key part of the first team, playing at least 40 Championship games in each of the past three full seasons.
“To go on and make 200 appearances for my hometown club – a place that means so much to me and my family – it’s something I’m very proud of,” he told BBC Radio Humberside.
“It’s a lovely number, I’d love to certainly get over the 500 mark. I’ve still got many years left ahead of me, I feel in a good spot.”
