Saints Stage Stunning 4-3 Comeback Win Over the Foxes

Southampton pulled off a stunning comeback against Leicester City, winning 4-3 at the King Power Stadium. Leicester City dominated the first half, taking a 3-0 lead through goals from Divine Mukasa (9th minute), Patson Daka (13th minute), and Abdul Fatawu (29th minute).

However, Southampton staged an incredible turnaround in the second half. Ross Stewart reduced the deficit in the 61st minute, and Jack Stephens equalized in the 82nd minute. Ryan Manning headed home the equalizer in the 86th minute, and Shea Charles scored a dramatic winner in the 96th minute.

The match was marked by Leicester City’s poor defending and Southampton’s relentless pressure. Leicester City’s interim manager Andy King was left stunned by his team’s collapse, while Southampton’s Tonda Eckert praised his team’s fighting spirit.

With this result, Southampton moved up to 9th on the table on 46 points while Leicester City are 18th.
