Official: Real Madrid Parts Ways with Arbeloa

Real Madrid have officially parted company with head coach Álvaro Arbeloa following a brief spell in charge of the senior team.
The club confirmed the news in a statement published on their official website, bringing an end to the former defender’s tenure which began on 13 January. During his time at the helm, Arbeloa oversaw 28 matches across all competitions, securing 18 wins, two draws, and eight defeats.
A graduate of the club’s academy, Arbeloa returned to the Bernabéu after his playing career ended, working his way up through the youth coaching ranks before eventually taking charge of the first team.
In a statement, the club expressed their gratitude to the departing manager, saying: “Real Madrid would like to express its deepest gratitude to Álvaro Arbeloa, who has consistently shown dedication, commitment and professionalism throughout his time at the club, starting with his time at our academy. He embodies the values of our club. Real Madrid, which will forever remain his home, wishes Álvaro Arbeloa and his entire family all the best in this new phase of their lives.”.”
