Official: OGC Nice Part Ways with Claude Puel
Ligue 1 side Nice have parted company with head coach Claude Puel after just six months in charge.
The 64-year-old was appointed in December 2025 and successfully guided the club to top-flight survival, finishing 16th in the table before overcoming Saint-Étienne in a relegation play-off.
In a statement, Nice said: “Puel’s term in office has come to an end. We would like to sincerely thank him for his efforts over the past months. He played a key role in keeping the club in the top division.””
