Official: Gary O’Neil Named Ipswich Town Head Coach
Ipswich Town have appointed Gary O’Neill as their new manager on a contract until the summer of 2029.
The 43-year-old replaces Kieran McKenna, who left the club after guiding them to Premier League promotion with a second-place finish in the Championship last season.
O’Neill returns to English football after a spell in France with Strasbourg, where he took over in January following Liam Rosenior’s move to Chelsea.
The former midfielder brings plenty of top-flight experience to Portman Road, having previously managed both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth in the Premier League.
