Real Madrid Agrees to Contract Renewal with Tchouaméni
Real Madrid are nearing the completion of a new long-term contract for midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, according to reports in France.
RMC Sport claim that the European champions have reached a full agreement to extend the 26-year-old’s stay at the Bernabéu until the summer of 2031.
The La Liga giants are said to have finalized the details of the extension, viewing the French international as a vital pillar for the club’s long-term future.
The development follows recent interest from Manchester United, who had reportedly launched a formal five-year offer to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford on a salary matching his current terms in Spain.
However, Real Madrid have moved quickly to tie down Tchouaméni and ward off any potential suitors, with club management making it clear they have no intention of letting him leave.
Tchouaméni moved to the Spanish capital from Monaco in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around €80m. He has since made 195 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
