Ajax in talks over Ounahi deal
Ajax have opened talks with Spanish side Girona over a potential summer move for Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.
According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch giants have initiated contact with the La Liga outfit as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the new campaign.
It is understood that Ounahi has a €25m (£21.1m) release clause in his current contract, a figure Girona are holding out for before sanctioning any departure.
The Morocco international is high on Ajax’s transfer shortlist, with discussions between the two clubs expected to progress over the coming days.
