Official: Vincenzo Italiano Named Beşiktaş Head Coach
Turkish Super Lig side Beşiktaş have appointed former Bologna and Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano as their new head coach.
The 48-year-old Italian has signed a two-year contract keeping him in Istanbul until the summer of 2028. Italiano is understood to be earning a net salary of €6m over the duration of the contract, with an additional €5m allocated for his incoming backroom coaching staff.
Italiano moves to Turkey following a successful two-season spell in Serie A with Bologna, having previously caught the eye during managerial stints at Fiorentina and Spezia. His arrival at Beşiktaş sees him take over a side desperate to return to the summit of Turkish football after a disappointing campaign.
