Ronald Koeman’s side orchestrated a dream start in Missouri, scoring twice in the opening seven minutes to completely deflate their North African opponents. The victory ensures the Oranje progress cleanly to the Round of 32 to face Morocco, while a dismal tournament comes to a permanent end for Herve Renard’s point-less Tunisia side.
It took just 109 seconds for the Dutch dominance to translate onto the scoreboard. Operating with menacing intent down the right flank, Denzel Dumfries whipped an incredibly dangerous low cross into the six-yard box.
