Real Madrid have emerged as shock suitors for Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, with club president Florentino Perez reportedly weighing up a staggering €150 million (£128m) bid for the Argentine.
According to Sky Sport journalist Patrick Berger, the reigning European champions hold the 26-year-old World Cup winner in high regard and have already lodged official inquiries regarding his availability. It is understood that Atletico Madrid would be prepared to sanction a sale for their star striker if their €150m valuation is met in full.
