Brighton Sign Spanish Midfielder Chema Andrés From Stuttgart

Brighton have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Chema Andrés from VfB Stuttgart on a five-year deal, though the financial details of the transfer, which remains subject to the usual regulatory procedures, have not been disclosed.
The 21-year-old spent last season in the Bundesliga after coming through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, the club confirmed.
Sporting director Mike Kaf said: “We are pleased to welcome Chema to the club, he has an impressive background having progressed through Real Madrid, and he had a very good season with VfB Stuttgart.”
“We have been aware of Chema Andrés’s potential for some time, and we are pleased to welcome him to the club. We look forward to working with him.”
Andrés joined Stuttgart last summer and made 41 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, helping the club qualify for this season’s Champions League.
