Yaya Touré Appointed Slovan Bratislava Head Coach
In a major managerial appointment, Slovak champions Slovan Bratislava have officially confirmed former Barcelona, Manchester City, and Ivory Coast star Yaya Touré as their new head coach.
The 43-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the club, marking his first major role as a head manager. After hanging up his boots, Touré steadily built his coaching resume with stints at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, assistant manager roles at Standard Liège and Marseille, and most recently, working alongside Roberto Mancini with the Saudi Arabia national team
