Bayern Munich sign Germany international Nathaniel Brown

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Germany international Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt on a contract running until June 2031.

The Bavarian club have secured the highly rated youngster as part of their ongoing strategy to recruit top domestic talent for the future.

Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen praised the modern full-back’s “speed, vitality, and remarkable development,” adding that securing the best young German players remains a core part of the club’s identity.

Sporting director Max Eberl highlighted Brown’s rapid progress and versatility, noting that the player will offer valuable options in both defense and midfield. Fellow sporting director Christoph Freund echoed those sentiments, expressing confidence in the player’s pace and adaptability on the flanks.

Brown, who was born in the Bavarian city of Amberg, described the move to one of the world’s biggest clubs as a “dream come true.” The defender revealed that positive discussions regarding the club’s sporting project with manager Vincent Kompany played a key role in his decision.

The 23-year-old began his professional career with Nuremberg before moving to Frankfurt, where he made 75 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists.

Brown has also earned eight caps for Germany, scoring his first international goal during a 7-1 victory over Curaçao at the World Cup.
