Fenerbahce sign Manchester City defender Nathan Ake

Fenerbahce have completed the signing of defender Nathan Ake from Manchester City, the Turkish club have confirmed.
The Dutch international has put pen to paper on a permanent deal after a final agreement was reached between both parties, making him the latest high-profile arrival ahead of the new campaign.
Ake will link up with his new teammates at Fenerbahce’s pre-season training camp in Austria following a post-World Cup holiday, after representing the Netherlands in the United States, Canada, and Mexico this summer.
The addition of the versatile defender is a major boost for the Istanbul giants as they look to strengthen their squad for a title charge.
The 31-year-old, who had a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2027, chose a move to the Süper Lig despite strong transfer interest from Italian giants Inter Milan.
