RB Leipzig advances in talks with AC Milan for Christopher Nkunku

Milan Open to Nkunku Exit as Leipzig Push for Loan Return

Christopher Nkunku, the 28-year-old French centre-forward, remains under contract at AC Milan until June 30, 2030, with a market value estimated at €25 million — a figure adding an intriguing layer to the ongoing negotiations surrounding his future.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Milan are open to letting Nkunku leave, including on loan, with RB Leipzig among the clubs showing interest. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Leipzig have submitted a loan proposal, while Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan are seeking €35 million for the forward.

A move would mark a return to Leipzig for Nkunku, where he enjoyed a standout spell before joining Milan. Nicolò Schira notes that Leipzig are currently leading the race and feel confident about completing the signing, though the structure of the loan and any buy-option clause still need to be worked out. Talks remain ongoing, with no final agreement yet in place.
