Al Hilal Offer €45m for Ollie Watkins

Al Hilal have submitted an official offer of €45m for Ollie Watkins, according to Fabrizio Romano, with the package including add-ons as negotiations continue over a potential move.

Watkins, 30, is contracted to Aston Villa until 30 June 2028 and carries a market value of €25m, with his qualities as a centre-forward making him a prime target for the Saudi club.

Despite the offer, Aston Villa are understood to be intent on rejecting Al Hilal’s approach. David Ornstein has corroborated that the club have no desire to sell their star forward, though Al Hilal’s persistence could yet complicate matters.

Ben Jacobs has added that while Aston Villa’s preference remains to keep Watkins, the scale of Al Hilal’s offer has tested that resolve. The situation remains fluid, with Watkins’ future likely to become clearer in the coming days.
