Al-Shabab sign Senegalese forward Mamadou Barry on loan

Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab have completed the signing of Senegalese forward Mamadou Barry on a season-long loan from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise.
The 21-year-old’s arrival was announced on X, with the Riyadh outfit sharing a promotional video captioned “Lion of Teranga in the den of the lions” to mark the deal.
Barry, regarded as one of Senegalese football’s brightest young prospects, linked up with his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp in Austria just hours before the move was formally finalized.
Al-Shabab management hope the addition will provide a vital boost to their attacking options as they prepare to push for top honors this term.
The White Lions kick off their Saudi Pro League campaign against Al-Qadisiyah on 13 August.
