Official: Abha Signs Nabil Fekir on Free Transfer
Saudi club Abha have completed the signing of former France playmaker Nabil Fekir on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old joins following the expiration of his contract with UAE side Al Jazira as Abha prepare for their return to the top-flight Roshn Saudi League.
Fekir, who was part of France’s 2018 World Cup-winning squad, brings a wealth of high-level experience following previous spells with Lyon, Real Betis, and Al Jazira.
The midfielder enjoyed a productive campaign in the UAE last season, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances.
Abha hope Fekir’s technical ability and experience will bolster their attacking options as they aim to secure their top-flight status and compete higher up the table in the upcoming season.
