Tottenham Sign Omar Marmoush from Man City

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Egypt international Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, strengthening Roberto De Zerbi’s attacking options.
Marmoush moves to north London on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy set at £50m, plus a further £10m in add-ons, taking the deal’s potential value to £60m.
The 27-year-old, capped extensively by Egypt, is known for his pace, finishing and versatility across the front line, qualities Spurs believe will add real threat to their forward play. He follows former City team-mate Savio in making the move to the club this summer, as part of a spending spree that has taken Tottenham’s summer outlay well past £300m.
For Marmoush, the switch offers a fresh start in the Premier League after an 18-month spell at the Etihad, having joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. He will now look to make his mark in Spurs colours, with supporters both in Egypt and England hopeful he can hit the ground running.
