Tottenham Sign Mykhailo Mudryk on Loan From Chelsea
Tottenham have completed the loan signing of Ukraine winger Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea for the season.
“It’s a great feeling. I can’t wait to start training and playing with the club, and I’m very excited to work again with Roberto De Zerbi,” Mudryk said in a statement published on Tottenham’s official website.
“I am a player who brings speed and creativity, and I want to help on both the offensive and defensive sides, as well as make the fans excited.”
The 25-year-old, who operates primarily on the wing, previously worked under De Zerbi at Shakhtar Donetsk before his move to Chelsea in January 2023.
Mudryk has made 73 appearances for Chelsea, contributing to 21 goals, and won the club’s Goal of the Month award for October 2023 following his strike against Arsenal.
At international level, Mudryk has won 28 caps for Ukraine, scoring three goals, including the crucial goal that secured his country’s qualification for Euro 2024.
