Chelsea are targeting AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone during the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 25-year-old France international, who has also been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks, is reportedly on the Blues’ radar.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are eyeing Kone as potential cover should Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Kone has built a strong reputation during spells in Germany and Italy, offering physical presence, composure, and defensive coverage in central midfield.
Roma are unlikely to stand in the player’s way if a suitable offer is made, with a move to the Premier League presenting a significant opportunity at this stage of his career.
A transfer to a major European club could also boost Kone’s chances of securing a regular starting spot for France, having largely been limited to squad appearances so far.
