Disasi Set for Crystal Palace Loan from Chelsea

Crystal Palace and Chelsea have struck a verbal agreement over a loan move for French defender Axel Disasi, with the switch reported to be a paid loan carrying no option to buy.
Crystal Palace now need to convince Disasi to make the move, with personal terms still to be finalised despite the clubs having settled the framework of the deal. Chelsea will keep him on their books beyond this loan spell, given there’s no buy clause attached.
Palace’s interest in the 28-year-old has intensified since the imminent departure of defender Maxence Lacroix to Stamford Bridge, with the Eagles viewing Disasi as his natural replacement. The France international remains Palace’s priority to fill that defensive gap, with talks now shifting to the player and his representatives.
Disasi has struggled to establish himself at Chelsea since his 2023 move from Monaco, spending recent seasons out on loan, most recently at West Ham United, where relegation followed. Should personal terms be agreed, Selhurst Park looks set to be his next destination as he seeks regular football away from Stamford Bridge.
