Liverpool have completed the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain, subject to international clearance, after the winger passed a medical and put pen to paper on a long-term contract.

Barcola put ink on his deal at the club’s AXA training centre and will wear the number 29 shirt for Liverpool.

“It is a great honour to be able to play with Liverpool. I am very happy,” he said. “It took a long time, but I am happy today, and all I want is to be on the pitch and play.”

“I hope to achieve very big things. First, winning the Premier League, as that is one of my biggest dreams in life. I want to achieve that and stay with the team for a long time, which is why I signed a long contract.”

Barcola arrives at Anfield after three seasons with PSG, during which he made 152 appearances, scoring 39 goals and adding 35 assists. He won back-to-back Champions League titles and three successive Ligue 1 crowns during his time in the French capital.

The 23-year-old began his career at Lyon, where he scored seven goals in 47 appearances before his move to PSG in August 2023.

He has won 28 caps for France since making his debut in June 2024, scoring six goals, three of which came at this summer’s World Cup, where he featured in every match as France finished the tournament in fourth place.

Explaining his decision to join Liverpool, Barcola said: “I had the opportunity to play twice at this stadium, and I saw the atmosphere and how the fans stand behind the Liverpool players. When I learned of Liverpool’s interest in me, I didn’t hesitate, and I knew it was a very big club for me.”
