Jhon Durán Joins Benfica on Loan from Al-Nassr in €6.1m Deal

Benfica have officially announced the signing of Colombian striker Jhon Durán on loan from Al-Nassr until the end of the season. The agreement includes an option for the Portuguese club to make the move permanent for a fee of around €30m.
The 22-year-old forward was formally presented alongside club president Rui Costa, with the total package for the initial loan period costing Benfica approximately €6.1m, covering the loan fee and associated financial commitments.
Speaking to the club’s official media channels following his arrival, Durán expressed his delight at sealing the move to Lisbon.
”I have come to the biggest club in Portugal,” Durán said, sharing his eagerness to kick off his career in the famous Eagles shirt.
Benfica are banking on the dynamic forward to add significant firepower to their attacking line for the campaign ahead. The decision to trigger the €30m buy clause at the end of the season will hinge on whether Durán lives up to expectations at the Estádio da Luz.
