Crysencio Summerville set for Al Hilal move

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have agreed a deal to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United for an initial £55m.
The transfer includes a further £5m in immediate add-ons, with the total package potentially rising to £70m. 24-year-old is now scheduled to undergo a medical before finalising a long-term contract.
Al Hilal’s lucrative proposal allowed them to hijack the transfer from AS Roma. The Serie A side had previously been the frontrunners for his signature, having agreed personal terms on a deal until 2031 and submitted an improved bid of nearly £42m.
However, the Saudi club’s substantial financial intervention completely altered the course of negotiations. Summerville had also drawn interest from Premier League sides Manchester United and Aston Villa, but West Ham ultimately opted to accept Al Hilal’s superior offer.
The imminent arrival of the highly-rated forward serves as a major attacking reinforcement for Al Hilal ahead of the new season, while dealing a significant blow to Roma’s summer recruitment plans.
