Leeds winger Harrison joins New England Revolution
Leeds United have confirmed winger Jack Harrison has completed a permanent transfer to Major League Soccer side New England Revolution for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old Englishman has signed a Designated Player contract with the Boston-based club running through the 2029-30 MLS season.
Harrison returned to Elland Road this summer following a loan spell in Italy with Serie A side Fiorentina, where he made 22 appearances during the second half of last season after featuring 13 times for Daniel Farke’s Leeds team earlier in the campaign.
He originally joined Leeds on loan from Manchester City in 2018, playing a central role under Marcelo Bielsa in helping the West Yorkshire club secure promotion and the Championship title in 2020 before turning the move permanent in 2021.
The transfer marks a return to MLS for Harrison, who began his senior career with New York City FC in 2016 after playing college soccer at Wake Forest and attending high school in Massachusetts.
”As I considered my options, the decision to return to MLS and join the Revolution was the one that was most aligned with me,” Harrison said. “I’m absolutely happy to come back to MLS and be back in Massachusetts, a place full of champions in all other sports, and I’m hoping we can bring a title here.”
