Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Colombia international Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace on a three-year deal, with the option of a further season.

The £22m deal, plus add-ons, brings the 30-year-old right-back to the City Ground as Oliver Glasner’s latest addition.

Muñoz arrives with plenty of Premier League and European experience, having established himself as a key figure at Crystal Palace since joining the club in January 2024.

He played a part in Palace’s FA Cup triumph in 2024-25, setting up the winning goal against Manchester City in the final and being named man of the match, before also lifting the FA Community Shield.

Last season Muñoz featured 46 times across all competitions, including 29 Premier League appearances in which he scored four goals and added three assists. He also played a key role as Palace won the Europa Conference League.

On the international stage, Muñoz has won 51 caps for Colombia since making his debut in 2021, appearing at two Copa América tournaments and earning a place in his country’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.

He is expected to link up with his new Forest team-mates in training ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham at the City Ground.
