Bayern Munich sign Morocco winger Ismail Saibari from PSV

Bayern Munich have officially completed the signing of Moroccan international winger Ismail Saibari from PSV Eindhoven on a contract running until June 2031.
The 25-year-old will link up with his new team-mates following the conclusion of his World Cup campaign with Morocco. He has been assigned the number 34 shirt as part of a summer rebuild under new manager Vincent Kompany.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl revealed the Bundesliga giants had been tracking the forward for a considerable period.
”The signing of Saibari came after long-term planning and will add great quality and an element of surprise to our attacking style,” Eberl said.
Director of sport Christoph Freund added: “Ismail has significant experience, having won the Dutch league three consecutive times and competed in the UEFA Champions League. His personality and abilities will be a strong addition to the team.”
Saibari, who scored 12 goals in 34 international appearances for Morocco, described the move to the Allianz Arena as a lifetime ambition.
”Playing for this club has been a childhood dream,” Saibari said. “I look forward to competing for all titles and working under coach Vincent Kompany.”
The forward arrives in Germany on the back of a highly successful stint in the Eredivisie, where he established himself as a key figure in PSV’s domestic dominance.
