Juventus sign Leverkusen winger Karim Alajbegovic

Juventus have completed the signing of Bosnian winger Karim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent transfer.

The 2007-born player has signed a contract with the Serie A side that keeps him in Turin until 30 June 2031.

Born in Cologne, Germany, Alajbegovic can operate on either flank and spent last season delivering an impressive campaign with RB Salzburg, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.

The youngster began his youth career at Köln before moving to Bayer Leverkusen’s academy, where he broke through to the senior squad and featured in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.

Known for his speed, agility, and two-footedness, the versatile attacker is comfortable operating in tight spaces and taking on defenders in one-on-one situations.

At international level, Alajbegovic has capped a rapid rise through Bosnia and Herzegovina’s youth ranks by making 11 senior appearances, scoring two goals—including one at the recent World Cup.

Juventus view the teenager as a high-potential addition to their squad ahead of the new season, with the versatility to cover multiple attacking positions as he continues his development.
